Gusta A Story of the Virgin Islands by Sally and Luman Kelsey. Island Workshop Press Co-op Inc. (1944). An un-numbered copy of stated 300 numbered copies, this is signed by the author and illustrator. 8 3/4" x 9 1/2" 51 pages Hardcover with no dust jacket. Boards covered with a pattern cloth(?) and smooth cloth spine. (I am not sure I described these correctly.) Printed label on front cover has tiny smudge or two, but otherwise unblemished. There is no lettering on the spine. There is cover wear particularly heavy on the top of the spines and the top of the cover tips. Some soiling to the covers. One of the pages has a tear along the top, not affecting the text. This was caused by the pages not being separated on publication. Otherwise, no previous owner markings. No tears, folds or creases to pages. Binding is tight with no looseness to pages. Not ex-library, not remaindered and not a facsimile reprint. For sale by Jon Wobber, bookseller since 1978. JD14a
