"A fascinating and very detailed day-by-day account of a missionary’s trip around Asia-Pacific and South Asia – we read about everything from the violent seas to the people, history, religion, customs, languages and wildlife of South-East Asia from nearly 200 years ago. Though this missionary was especially zealous and extremely dedicated to conversion work, he made detailed and (sometimes) impartial observations about the “natives”." - https://www.gohd.com
