Gilt lettering on spine and front cover is faded, but still legible. Moderate cover edge wear. Soiling to covers (some water spots, paint spots). Five pinhead sized gouges on the back cover, some breaking through the cover ink. There is a flexibility to the joints in the front and back covers. I think that's by design but there is some break in the endpaper both in the front and back covers. There is soiling inside the back cover. There are a few page corner folds. I found a little bit of water staining at the top of the pages near the spine. There is no page ripple and the pages don't stick together. No other previous owner markings. Within the book, the binding is tight with no looseness to pages. Not ex-library, not remaindered and not a facsimile reprint. For sale by Jon Wobber, bookseller since 1978. JD09a
