Hard cover with dust jacket. DUST JACKET: Not price-clipped with original price of $2.75. Statement "This book is standard length, complete and unabridged, manufactured under wartime conditions in conformity with all government regulations controlling the use of paper and other materials". Some wear on edges with some 1/8" tears along the bottom edge. There seems to be light soiling to the edge of the back flap. No unusual folds. No missing pieces. Now protected with mylar dj cover. BOOK: Some cover edge wear. Gilt lettering on spine is slightly faded.  I find a couple of pin-head sized dark spots on the first blank page. Pages are lighly tanned, with a bit of dust soiling on the top of the page block. Otherwise, there are no previous owner markings. Pages are flat without creases, folds or dog-earing.
