Some water staining to the top of the first 6 pages with accompanying light ripple actually through out the book, although this sounds worse than it actually is, also evidenced by a light stain on the top of the page block. Otherwise, there are no preious owner markings. Binding is tight with no looseness to the pages. Pages are without creases, folds or dog-earing. Nevada's Northeast Frontier by Edna Patterson et. al. begins with the early relatons of the whites and the Native American Indians, through the early exploration, early emigrants, and U.S. Military influx. Discusses transportation, the cattle industry, sheep industry, livestock men and ranch operations, the Northeast Nevada Valleys, the towns and mining districts, and a retrospective. Contains a good bibliography and an index.

To narrate the photos:  1) On the front cover, it is easy to see no stain      2)The same with the spine.     3) On the title page and the page opposite, those are among the worst of the stained pages.     4)There is detail  of the stain opposite the title page.  5) On page 17, the stain is already gone, but there is still a bit of ripple on the op of the page.   6) On page 23. Ripple still there, but light. As it is through the whole book.   7) The top of the page block. You should be able to see the stain. It is there if you look closely.    8) This is what we have of the dust jacket. Most of the front is missing.
