Ginsberg's signature includes his trademark circled "AH". (Ginsberg used "AH" as a public mantra to replace "OM" as more bright spirited and with a reference to Albert Hofmann, the Swiss scientist and founder of LSD). Black cloth with gilt image of a lightbulb on front board, and on front of black cloth slipcase. SLIPCASE: Gilt image is bright with little or no sign of wear. There are some signs of wear on the edges of the box. There is a there are a couple of small places where it appears particularly heavy at the bottom of the spine. BOOK: Gilt lettering and insignia on the spine is bright and unblemished. Gilt light bulb on the front cover does show some wear, probably from removal from the slip case. Otherwise, the cover shows minimal signs of wear. No previous owner markings. No tears, folds or creases to pages. Binding is tight with no looseness to pages.
