Instante y Revelación (Instant and Revelation) by Octavio Paz and Manuel Alvarez Bravo. Editado por Arturo Muñoz. Circulo Editorial. Mexico. 1982. Distributed by Grove Press. ISBN-10: 0394552342. Signed by Manual Bravo on the half-title page. One of 2,200 copies, with 32 poems in Spanish by Paz accompanying Bravo's photographs. Hard cover with dust jacket, wrap-around, and 4 page leaflet in English by Octavio Paz translated by Eliot Weinberger about 'The Instant and the Revelation' and photography. DUST JACKET: Some rubbing and bumping to edges. A bump on the spine. The Grove Press distribution label on the back panel shows some browning, possibly from the glue used by Grove Press to apply the label. Otherwise, there are no clips tears or unusual folds to the dj. WRAP-AROUND: Has two 1" tears. Some edge bumping. No missing pieces. LEAFLET: Flat and clean with no unusual folds, tears or missing pieces. Like new. BOOK: A few light spots of soiling on the top of the page block. On the page opposite the title page is a Grove Press label like the one on the dust jacket, that has only slightly less browning than the one on the dj. Otherwise, I see no flaws on the book. I see no wear to the edges of the cover. No folds, creases, tears or bumps to pages. No previous owner markings. Binding is tight with no looseness to pages. Not ex-library, not remaindered, not a facsimile reprint. For sale by Jon Wobber, bookseller since 1978. CH15a
